Stone Hedge Cavalier  King Charles Spaniels

Our dogs are part of our family and raised in our home. They sleep in the bed with us at night and free roam in the house during the day. 

I have loved animals since I was a little girl and dreamed of one day becoming an “animal cop”. My first jobs, while in high school, were at a boarding kennel and veterinary hospital. In 2009, I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Veterinary Technology. I moved to Fort Wayne in 2010 to be an animal control officer, and scored that dream job! I worked as an ACO for seven years before deciding it was time to stay home with our young kids. We have 5 children, two adopted through foster care and also foster other children.

In 2017, I purchased my first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, “Coverdale’s Amore of Buckingham” aka “Bucky”. I fell in love with the Cavalier breed in highschool when I worked at the boarding facility and met the most adorable Cavalier named “Charlie”. I knew I would one day own one and I’ve always been mesmerized by purebred dogs and dog shows. I couldn’t wait to enter “Bucky” in confirmation shows and I’ve been showing him regularly since he was 4 months old.
